It's amazing how long I have waited for more free time, alone time, time to myself...whatever. Seven years, give or take a month or two. Now, with both kids in school, nearly all day...almost everyday, the time just slips away. However, I am really good at wasting it too. My newfound interest...wandering. I just love to wander while alone. Stores, streetfronts, my living room...it doesn't really matter much. The quiet time is awesome. Did I mention that while the minutes of my day diminish, my laundry pile grows grander. The dust spreads like ash upon the tops of my buffets and hutches. And the beds may or may not be made.
