His loss is still affecting us as my daughter can't sleep in her room where he died. Sunday night she asked if we could trade bedrooms, which is actually a good plan since she is in the master now which I need to move back into so it looks "normal" and more sellable come spring. But she felt so bad admitting that she was scared to be in a room where something died, no matter how much she loved her kitty.
